Esenzia Travels designs private, tailor-made experiences and trips in Barcelona, Catalonia and the Balearic Islands. On the website we present these services, publish articles (Insider Notes) and offer you a form to ask us for a proposal.

No service can be booked or paid for on the website. Bookings are always made in writing, after we have spoken with you.

03Proposals, programmes and prices

The itineraries, timings and experiences we describe are for guidance only. They may change depending on availability, the season, the weather or decisions by third parties, such as museums, restaurants, wineries or boat skippers. Prices are available on request, and nothing on the website is a binding offer.

Each trip is governed by the personalised proposal and the terms and conditions of booking that you receive and accept in writing before confirming it. If the trip is a package travel or a linked travel arrangement, before booking you will receive the pre-contractual information and the guarantees required by Book Four of the Texto refundido de la Ley general para la defensa de los consumidores y usuarios (consolidated text of the Spanish General Consumer and User Protection Act, Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007).

04Use of the website

Access to the website is open and free of charge. You agree to use it lawfully and in good faith. In particular, you may not:

introduce viruses or any code that could damage the website or other people's devices;
extract content in bulk or by automated means in order to reuse it;
send false data through the form, or data belonging to other people without their permission;
use it to send unsolicited advertising.

05Intellectual and industrial property

The texts, design, code, brand and logo of Esenzia Travels belong to Esenzia Travels or are used by us under licence. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly communicate or transform them without written permission. You may view them for private use and quote short extracts, stating the source.

Some photographs are our own or have been provided to us by our partners. Others come from Wikimedia Commons and we use them under Creative Commons licences, with the author and licence of each one listed in the photo credits section.

Third-party brands and logos that appear on the website, such as those of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Apartur, the European Union or the Generalitat de Catalunya, belong to their owners. We show them to indicate a partnership, an award or funding, and this does not imply any transfer of rights.

If you believe any content infringes your rights, write to us at info@esenziatravels.com and we will review it straight away.

The website links to third-party services, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn or Wikimedia Commons. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their policies. If we become aware that a link leads to unlawful content, we will remove it, as provided for in Article 17 of the LSSI-CE.

You may link to any page of our website, provided that the link does not suggest a relationship that does not exist and that you do not reproduce its content within another website.

We work to keep the information accurate and up to date, and to make sure the website works properly. Even so, we cannot guarantee that there will be no errors or interruptions. We are not liable for damage caused by technical interruptions, by viruses not attributable to us or by use of the website contrary to this notice.

Nothing in this section limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.

08Personal data and cookies

We explain how we process your data in the privacy policy. The website does not set cookies. It only stores in your browser the language you have chosen, so that your next visit opens in that language.

09Complaints

If something has not gone well, write to us at info@esenziatravels.com or call us on +34 695 343 267. We will sort it out as soon as possible.

We have hojas oficiales de reclamación/denuncia (official complaint forms) available to you, as provided for in the Catalan Consumer Code (Ley 22/2010). You can also contact the Agència Catalana del Consum or your local consumer information office and, if both parties agree, refer the dispute to consumer arbitration.

10Governing law and jurisdiction

This notice is governed by Spanish law and, where applicable, Catalan law. If you are a consumer, the competent courts are those set by consumer legislation, which are usually the courts of your place of residence. In all other cases, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals of Barcelona.

We may update this notice when the law or the website changes. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
